Fix Plate 2 and Plate 3 onto Plate 4 using 8mm screws.
Note: Place Plate 2 in the middle layer.

Step 3: Install Long T21 Pin & Large Gear Wheel

Insert the long T21 metal pin through the large gear wheel assembly.

Step 4: Lock Gear with T21 Pin

Push the T21 pin through the center gap of the wheel assembly from Step 3 to secure the 5# wheel plate.

Step 5: Attach 6# Wooden Bracket Plate

Mount the fan-shaped 6# plate onto the wheel assembly.

Step 6: Fit Large Rubber Drive Belt

Loop the large belt around the main crank wheel gear.

Step 7: Install 7# Support Plate

Attach the triangular 7# plate to the wheel assembly as a side support.

Step 8: Build Vertical Lamp Stand (Plates 10 & 11)

Stack and fix Plate 10 and Plate 11 with 7mm screws to form the vertical bulb holder frame.

Step 9: Wire Motor & Booster Module

Verify all wires are connected correctly, belts are tight, and all wooden frames are securely fastened.

Step 16: Install Bottom Rubber Feet

Stick rubber foot pads to the bottom of base Plate 1 to finish assembly.

4. Extended Science Knowledge: Power Generation Types

  1. Thermal Power Plant
Burn fuel to heat water into high-pressure steam. Steam pushes turbines to rotate, converting thermal energy to mechanical energy. Turbines drive generators to turn mechanical energy into electricity.
  2. Hydropower Plant
Flowing water spins generators to transfer energy. Dams are commonly built with stone or concrete barriers for flood control and stable water flow regulation.
  3. Nuclear Power Plant
Nuclear fission inside reactors releases thermal energy. The heat generates steam following the same workflow as thermal power plants; the nuclear reactor replaces coal-fired boilers.
  4. Wind Farm (Wind Power)
Uses wind force to spin turbine generators. Wind power is a clean, renewable energy source.
  5. Tidal Power Plant
A branch of hydropower that captures energy from daily tidal water level rises and falls.
  6. Geothermal Power Plant
Extracts heat from underground hot rock layers, hot springs, and geothermal steam as its primary energy source.
